Hair Donation Guide

Our Hair Donation Guide follows: Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to guide you through donating your hair to Real Fringe Hair Bands. It’s a super-easy 4-step process, we promise!

Worried about whether your hair is suitable for donation? Don’t be!

The beauty of the work we do here at Real Fringe is that you don’t need to have “perfect hair” to donate your hair. What’s the definition of perfect hair anyway, right? Regardless of whether you have frizzy hair, straight hair, coloured hair, or short hair, all we ask for is a minimum of 15 cm when cut (most other companies required at least 20cm!).

Step 1: Download a copy of the Hair Donation Form

You’ll need to print it out, fill out the form, and include it with your donated hair when sending it to us. This way we’ll know who the hair is from and whether you intend it for someone specific.

Step 2: Make an appointment with your favourite hairstylist

You might want to let them know about your intention to donate the hair you cut at this appointment and ensure that they are able to help you.

Step 3: Prepare simple elastic hair ties and a zip-lock bag

Your hairstylist should be able to section out your hair into small bundles with these hair ties so that the hair is kept tidily in bundles after they are cut. These hair bundles will then be placed in the zip-lock bag to be mailed to us.

Step 4: Send it to Real Fringe Hair Bands

The only thing left for you to do now is to place the correct Hair Donation Form and the hair (in a zip-lock bag) into an envelope and mail it to us at the following address:
